Get answers to common questions about Booty Sugaring.
Arrive clean and dry, avoid heavy lotions, and wear loose clothing. Hair should be about a quarter-inch long (5–7 mm) for best results. Avoid exfoliating 48 hours before and consider cycle timing if sensitivity is a concern.
Pain varies by individual and area. Many clients report sugaring is less painful because paste adheres to hair, not skin. We use gentle technique and aftercare to minimize discomfort; numbing options may be available for highly sensitive clients.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycle and individual factors. With regular sugaring, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser, extending intervals between appointments over time.
Yes; sugaring uses all-natural paste and a technique that reduces skin trauma. We perform consultations, customize pressure and paste technique, and recommend patch tests if you have severe sensitivities or a history of reactions to hair removal.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Use gentle exfoliation after 48 hours and apply soothing, fragrance-free moisturizers. Skip sun exposure and self-tanners immediately after to prevent irritation or staining.
Discuss all medications and pregnancy with your esthetician during booking. Some medications (retinoids, blood thinners) increase sensitivity or bleeding risk; pregnancy is generally safe but we may adjust technique and timing. Medical clearance is advised for specific concerns.
