Ideally hair should be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch long (3–6 mm) so the sugar paste can grip. If hair is longer, we’ll trim briefly; if too short, you may need to wait a few days for regrowth.
No — our Bikini Sugaring service removes pubic hair from the sides and top only. A separate butt strip or Brazilian-style treatment is available if you want hair removed from the buttock area; please ask when booking.
Many clients find sugaring less painful than waxing because the paste adheres to hair rather than skin and is applied at skin temperature. Pain varies with sensitivity and hair coarseness; experienced technicians and post-care reduce discomfort and irritation.
Exfoliate gently 48–72 hours before and avoid heavy creams, oils, or self-tanning on the day. Arrive clean and avoid recent shaving. If you take topical retinoids or medications, inform us beforehand to reduce risk of irritation.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid active exfoliation for 48–72 hours. Begin light exfoliation after 3 days to prevent ingrown hairs, and avoid sun exposure on treated skin.
Most clients return every 4–6 weeks depending on individual regrowth cycles. With consistent sugaring, hair becomes finer and sparser, allowing longer gaps between visits. Your technician will advise a customized schedule based on hair texture and desired maintenance level.
