Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Brow Sugaring.

A Brow Sugaring appointment typically takes 15–30 minutes, depending on hair density and shaping needs. We begin with a brief consultation, then shape and remove stray hairs. First-time clients or detailed sculpting may require a bit longer for best results.

Most clients report less discomfort with sugaring because the paste adheres to hair, not skin, and removal follows the hair’s natural growth direction. Topical soothing products and our gentle technique further minimize pain, especially for sensitive skin.

Ensure hairs are about 1/4 inch long (roughly two weeks of growth). Avoid heavy exfoliation or retinoids 48–72 hours prior, and come with clean, makeup-free brows. Inform your technician about skin sensitivities or recent treatments.

Maintenance frequency varies, but most clients return every 3–6 weeks as hair regrowth depends on individual cycles. Regular sugaring can slow regrowth and reduce density over time, potentially extending intervals between appointments for a low-maintenance routine.

While sugaring reduces ingrown hairs compared with some methods, mild redness or sensitivity can occur briefly. We apply calming serums and advise gentle aftercare like avoiding heat, heavy makeup, or exfoliation for 24–48 hours to promote smooth healing.

Sugaring is generally safe during pregnancy and for sensitive skin because it’s natural and gentle. However, hormonal changes can increase sensitivity or bleeding. Always disclose pregnancy or skin conditions beforehand; we’ll perform a patch test if you’re uncertain.
